Macro Pictures: Sega Mega Drive Controller (3 button version).
[Camera: Digital Harinezumi guru – Final 2011 by SUPERHEADZ]
“Wanna come back to mine n we can play Sega?”
In 1990 Sega Enterprises Ltd. rolled out it’s third console across Europe. The 16-bit Sega Mega Drive (known as Genesis in North America) was the successor of the Master System offering improved graphics and sound to the 8-bit Nintendo NES.
Think of the countless hours of play this game pad has seen: losing rings in Sonic the Hedgehog, getting beat up in Street of Rage, struggling to understand the rules of EA Hockey and falling off a bike in Road Rash. I hope seeing this battle-scared batwing controller will evoke as fond memories for you as it does for me.
